Andy Ewen, the creator of the cover art for The Singles - Season 1, is an amazing artist, musician, and song writer. These pieces were created in Illustrator, but he also works in a variety of media - his pen and ink drawings are surreal and strikingly beautiful. His work has appeared in The Progressive, The New York Times Book Review, and too many other places to list. In other words, yeah...he's really really good.
Around here, we call Andy "The Fireman" (as in, he doesn't put them out, he starts 'em), and his work with us goes far beyond the cover art. His guitar playing, lyric writing, and unmistakable voice are all over our music - songs like I Dreamt the Train and Save the Baby are great examples of both his unique vocal style and his monstrously good guitar playing.
